instructions on submitting papers
Regular papers: Prospective authors should submit full-length, 6-page papers, following the IEEE conference proceedings format, set on A4 paper. The manuscripts must be in the IEEE two-column format, using the template available below and to translate it in PDF using the IEEE PDF eXpress facility. No other format in the submission and in the final version can be accepted. The template has to be followed strictly since any paper submitted in a different form will not be reviewed.

All papers must be IEEE Explore compatible. To ensure this your paper must be checked using IEEE PDF eXpree. Note that you will still need to submit the paper to our submission website once you file compliance is confirmed.
Using IEEE PDF eXpress:
- Click link or PDF eXpress logo above to go to the PDF eXpress web site.
- Once at the PDF eXpress web site, create a new account by clicking on "New Users - Click Here" link or enter your login and password if you already have an account (you will still need to create a new account for the conference, however most of the details can be retained).
- Enter melecon10x for the Conference ID.
- Continue to enter information as prompted. Once finished, you will receive an email confirming the successful creation of your account.
- Through your PDF eXpress account, you may submit your source application files for conversion to PDF, and/or submit PDFs for checking. You will have the opportunity to revise your submission if you are not satisfied with the PDF that PDF eXpress creates for you, if you find mistakes in your manuscript, or if your PDF fails the PDF Check.
Special Sessions: The symposium will feature special sessions on topics of special interest. A proposal of a special session must include the session name and a list of about 6 potential papers together with their digests.
Tutorials: A tutorial is a shot course of 3 hours which can be proposed on the basis of title, lecturer(s) with photo(s) and short CV(s) and a set of a minimum of 5 slides (ppt or pdf formats) with the outline of the presentation and a content sample. All tutorial proposals will be reviewed under the leadership of the technical program co-chairs.
